No. Canopath is a self-serve software tool. We help you fill out your own application — we do not represent you to IRCC. Only the licensed RCIC review tier (Plus or Premium) makes a real RCIC your named representative on Form IMM 5476.

No, ever. You submit on IRCC's portal yourself. Our browser extension fills the form fields for you, but you review each page and click "Submit" on IRCC's site personally. This keeps you compliant with IRCC's rules and ensures you stay the named filer.

A licensed Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) authorized by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC). When you choose Plus or Premium, that RCIC becomes your representative for review purposes only and is named on IMM 5476. We list their CICC ID before you confirm.

Your data is hosted in AWS Canada Central — PIPEDA-aligned. Documents are encrypted at rest with AES-256. Your application data never leaves Canada. Only you (and the RCIC reviewing your file, if you chose Plus/Premium) can access your case.

A refusal is between you and IRCC. Canopath does not control the outcome of your visa application. If you were refused, the next steps depend on the refusal reasons — we recommend a Premium tier consult so an RCIC can advise on whether to reapply, request reconsideration, or pursue judicial review.

About 30 minutes for the questionnaire if you have your documents ready (passport, employment letter, financials). The IRCC portal autofill takes another 5-10 minutes once you sign in. Plus/Premium add 1-3 business days for the RCIC review.

At minimum: your passport. Most applicants also upload an employment letter, recent bank statements, an invitation letter (if visiting family), and proof of ties to home country. We tell you exactly what's missing as you go.

Yes. Your progress saves automatically. Log back in any time and pick up where you left off. We send a friendly reminder if you don't finish — never spam.

After you complete the questionnaire and are ready to download your generated forms. Before that, browsing, eligibility check, and questionnaire are free. The IRCC government fee ($100 CAD) is paid separately on IRCC's portal during submission.

If our software fails or doesn't deliver what was promised, yes — full refund. We don't refund visa decisions, since IRCC outcomes are outside our control. Read the full Refund Policy in the footer.
