The platform Canadian RCICs use, now in your hands.
Canopath is built on the same engine that licensed Canadian Immigration Consultants (RCICs) use to file applications every day. We took the parts that automate the boring stuff, stripped out the parts only a representative would need, and made it self-serve.
Why we built this
Filing a Canadian visitor visa shouldn't require a $1,500 consultant — but it also shouldn't mean fighting IRCC's portal alone with a 30-page guide and a Reddit thread.
We watched applicants do one of three things: pay a real RCIC (expensive but solid), hire a "ghost consultant" abroad (illegal, often a scam), or DIY through IRCC's portal while making the same avoidable mistakes — weak home ties, missing letter of explanation, incomplete financials.
Canopath is the missing fourth option: software that does the heavy lifting, with an optional licensed RCIC review for cases that need a human eye.
What we do
- Guide you through plain-language questions — no immigration jargon.
- Read your documents with AI — passport details auto-extracted.
- Generate your forms — IMM 5257, IMM 5645, custom Letter of Explanation.
- Auto-fill the IRCC portal — our browser extension fills page after page.
- Connect you to an RCIC if you want one — Plus and Premium tiers.
What we don't do
- We don't represent you to IRCC. Only RCICs and lawyers can do that. If you choose Plus or Premium, a real RCIC takes that role and is named on Form IMM 5476.
- We don't submit on your behalf. Our extension fills the IRCC portal — you click submit yourself.
- We don't predict outcomes. Visa decisions are made by IRCC. We help you put your best application forward.
Where we live
Built in Canada. Hosted in AWS Canada Central — your application data stays in the country and is encrypted at rest with AES-256. Aligned with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA).
The team
Canopath is the consumer-facing product of Migrawise, the platform Canadian RCICs use to manage their immigration practices. We've been building immigration software since 2026 and applying lessons from real RCIC workflows to the consumer experience.
